Personal Information

Voice Data

• Voice recordings are processed entirely on your device using native speech recognition
• Original voice recordings are automatically deleted after transcription
• We never receive, store, or process your voice data on our servers

Technical Information

• App version and device type (for crash reporting and compatibility)
• Anonymous usage statistics (number of entries created, features used)
• This data cannot be linked to you personally and is aggregated across all users

Payment Information

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details
• Subscription status is managed through the respective app stores

Local Storage

• All journal entries are encrypted and stored locally on your device
• Your device's built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode) protects your entries
• We use standard iOS and Android encryption methods

Cloud Sync (Optional)

• If you enable cloud sync, your entries are uploaded to YOUR personal cloud storage
• iOS: Your personal iCloud account
• Android: Your personal Google Drive account
• We do not have access to your cloud storage or the data stored there
• Cloud sync uses your existing cloud storage quotas

App Stores

We use Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution and payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies. We only receive aggregated, anonymized statistics from app stores.

Cloud Services (When You Choose to Use Them)

iCloud and Google Drive have their own privacy policies. Your synced data is subject to Apple's or Google's privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies if you enable cloud sync.

Analytics

We use minimal, privacy-focused analytics to understand app usage. All data is anonymized and aggregated. You can opt out of analytics in the app settings.

Data Control

• You control all your journal data locally on your device
• You can export your journal entries at any time
• You can delete all data by uninstalling the app

Cloud Sync Control

• Cloud synchronization is entirely optional
• You can enable or disable cloud sync at any time
• Disabling cloud sync does not delete data from your personal cloud storage

Analytics Opt-Out

You can disable analytics collection in the app settings. This stops all data sharing with our analytics tools.

No Data Transmission

Since we don't collect your journal content, there's no risk of data breaches of your personal entries. Voice processing happens entirely on your device. No personal content is transmitted over the internet.

Since we don't collect personal information as defined by the CCPA, these rights don't typically apply, but you always have the right to: know what data we collect (minimal technical data only); delete any data we have (contact us to delete technical data); opt out of any data sales (we don't sell data).
